iOS 5 Beta 4 Released To Developers

Apple has recently seeded the 4th beta version of iOS 5 to developers, just less than two weeks after the 3rd beta was released. Although we must wait until fall to see iOS 5 on our devices, the new update (Build 9A5274d) is providing some pretty interesting insights into iOS 5 according to the devs who are now tinkering with iOS 5 beta 4.

As we’ve been hearing, Apple has made iOS 5 beta 4 available as an OTA (over-the-air) update for the developers currently running iOS 5 beta 3. For the time being, however, there are scant reports of problems being associated with this particular download method (although reports have been stated of this problem being fixed). Of course, you can still get the update manually via iTunes and skip the over-the-air option altogether for now…

The fourth beta seems to address a number of bugs, although some noteworthy attributes are present, including, naturally, the OTA installation support referenced above, as well allowing Windows users to wirelessly sync, and video content (in all apps, websites) now AirPlay-friendly by default
