If you would like to update the iOS 5 beta, you will need your UDID registered with a developer account. You can register your UDID using PwnMyI’s UDID Registration form.
If you are a developer for jailbroken iDevices, you may be hesitant to update to the newly release iOS 5 beta 2 in case it is not yet jailbreakable. But don’t worry, it is still jailbreakable using redsn0w 0.9.8b1. All you have to do is point redsn0w to the iOS 5 beta 1 IPSW. Please note that this jailbreak is tethered and you will need to boot into an untethered state using redsn0w after each reboot. If you are using an unlock, do not update to the iOS 5 betas.
