“it’s surprising Apple closed Gevey interposer hole in b2 rather than waiting until final (maybe they were under pressure)”
Its a quite of surprise Apple has closed off the Gevey Sim Interposer exploit. With apple doing this in the early stages of iOS beta 5, MuscleNerd feels as they are pushed there. With Apple now selling their newly factory unlocked iPhones , it gives users two different options for unlock(If Ultrasn0w isn’t available for them).
For all who doesn’t know what the Gevey sim is.
Gevey Sim is a hardware unlock made by the hacker Gevey, that has a Interposer unit within this sim tray used to spoof your handset telling itself it’s factory unlocked with a quick emergency call and couple toggles of your airplane mode switch.
In theory, Apple may have blocked the interposer exploit to protect their Factory Unlocked iPhone sales.

“it’s high time for anyone using gevey unlock & tinkering with iOS5b1 to start thinking about going back to 4.3.3 before it’s too late”
For those who require any unlock. Whether it’s Ultrasn0w or Gevey sim. It’s best to stick away from it in the first place. You may not know if it becomes permanent.
