Information
Ultrasn0w was developed by the iPhone Dev-Team. Currently, the Ultrasn0w only works on pre-iOS 4.1 basebands (not including iOS 4.1) or the 6.15.00 baseband on the iPhone 3G, 3GS, or 4.
Requirements
- a jailbroken iPhone 3G, 3GS, or 4 running a pre-iOS 4.1 baseband (not including iOS 4.1) or the 6.15.00 baseband
How to Unlock
First, open Cydia from your SpringBoard.
Next, go to the Manage tab and tap on Sources.
If you do not see repo666.ultrasn0w.com, click Edit in the top left corner and click Add in the top left corner. Type http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com into the text field. Click Add Source. Cydia will now add the ultrasn0w repository.
Tap on repo666.ultrasn0w.com and then tap on ultrasn0w. Tap Install in the top right corner and proceed by tapping Confirm in the top left corner.
Cydia will now start installing ultrasn0w. Once ultrasn0w has finished installing, tap the Restart SpringBoard button located on the bottom of the screen.
If you have followed all the instructions correctly, you should now be able to use your iPhone with any SIM card.
