If you have upgraded to the iOS 5 beta and you are finding it too buggy, you may be wanting to downgrade back to iOS 4.3.3. Apple says that after you have upgraded to the iOS 5 beta, you can’t downgrade back to 4.3.3. This is true if you simply click the Restore button in iTunes. If you try that method of restoring, iTunes will present you with an error. So to downgrade, we are doing to use a different approach. The following method will work with all devices except the 3G iPad 2′s.
How to Downgrade
Firstly, you are doing to need the 4.3.3 IPSW firmware file for your device. You can find this using the PwnMyI Firmware Guide.

Once you have downloaded the IPSW, plug your iDevice into your computer and open iTunes. Go to your iDevice’s Summary page.

The next step will differ slightly depending on what operating system you are running. If you are running Windows, then hold down Shift key and click Restore. If you are running Mac OS X, then hold down the Alt key and click Restore.

iTunes will open a file selection window. Navigate to the IPSW that you downloaded earlier and click Open. iTunes will verify that you want to restore to 4.3.3; click Restore.

After you have clicked Restore, iTunes will start going through all of the steps of restoring your firmware.

Once iTunes has completed restoring the 4.3.3 firmware to your iDevice, iTunes will take you through the steps of setting up your iDevice. If you wish to restore from a backup, you can do so at this point by choosing your desired backup from the Restore from the backup of list.
